Your new device lacks built-in Wi-Fi and you're relying on fixed wireless broadband throughout your home. The USB Wi-Fi chip you're using is quite limited at 100 Mbps. For better performance, consider a high-speed PCIe Wi-Fi card that supports faster speeds and better throughput.

I received the Asus PCE-AC68, which supports up to 1.30Gbps. I usually use my 450MBit connection at full speed while downloading games, and the ping stays very consistent even with around ten devices connected through the router. Highly recommended.
