Good question. Skyrim (have it, will play when I have the time.), the Portal series, Half Life (if you care for the HYPE TRAIN), I like GTA IV for the modding community, Minecraft simply because it's what seems to get a lot of people in the door, Garry's Mod if you like sandbox games, Counter-Strike Global Offensive if you're into competitive FPS games, BioShock games for the story, etc.
I enjoy games with rich and thorough narratives. Some of my favorites include the Fallout series, Skyrim, the F.E.A.R. series, and the Metro games.
