This would present a significant challenge to me. I’ve enjoyed numerous first-person shooters on personal computers. Without question, my top choices are Battlefield 2 and 3.

The game Unreal Tournament (also known as UT 3, and frequently described as an ‘unfinished’ version) provided a lot of enjoyment. Quake III Arena was consistently entertaining. Battlefield 1942 stood out for its diverse gameplay options.

I haven't typically invested heavily in contemporary shooters; I often find them repetitive due to the limited range of weapons available with minimal differences, and players constantly optimizing their loadouts for maximum effectiveness. When I do play more recent titles, I tend to engage in unorthodox tactics like using bolt-action or semi-automatic rifles without a scope.

A long-time favorite is Unreal Tournament, particularly with Instagib configurations. I used to enjoy one-shot headshots employing a gaming mouse at a 1024x768 display resolution. Another top choice was the initial Call of Duty release. Presently, I’m really into Modern Warfare and Gears 5.

I first experienced Quake III through its arena mode. Interestingly, I still regularly play the original Unreal Tournament exclusively with the keyboard—though my reflexes have diminished to the point where I can only comfortably game for about thirty minutes at a time, even in deathmatch. Absolutely, including instagib.
