I spent countless hours on Age of Empires 1 through 3 and the C&C Generals, and I’m completely satisfied with the time invested.
It's been widely discussed what STALKER is and why it stands out. It's a challenging survival game where players explore a post-apocalyptic world, managing resources and avoiding dangers. What makes it special is its deep mechanics and immersive atmosphere.
It's a new open-world first-person shooter RPG experience—similar to Skyrim, but set in a post-Chernobyl nuclear zone. The area is packed with rare artifacts (and dangerous creatures), while STALKERS hunt for them for profit or influence. You'll complete missions, gather weapons, uncover the world's history, and enjoy one of my top favorite game series.
Consider beginning with Shadow of Chernobyl and progressing through the levels in sequence. After that, try playing in clear sky mode followed by pripyat. The game offers a lot of freedom, resembling titles like Fallout or Skyrim, but set in Russia with an especially immersive atmosphere.
It's not a complicated game if you're concerned about that. The game is organized into zones, letting you move between them and complete missions along the way. It's open-ended but different from Skyrim in that sense—you can tackle any mission you like, choose your faction, and craft your own narrative with clear guidance on the map. The story flows smoothly, making it easy to follow. It feels more like a linear open experience, though it's hard to put into words. Personally, I really enjoy it.
