I'm looking for ways to capture gameplay without losing performance. I know ShadowPlay exists, but some users report crashes or slowdowns. Since I'm using a laptop (Lenovo Y50-70), I want something that runs smoothly without dropping frames. I'm also hoping to find a free solution. Thanks!

ShadowPlay offers minimal effect on performance. It's recommended to test it to observe its impact.

Shadowplay should not interfere with your performance, because that’s what it’s designed for. It relies on the GPU’s dedicated H264 encoder to capture OBS/DX tory, and certain codecs can be quite efficient. If you need 0% interference, dedicated hardware might be necessary. This could be helpful.
