The issue I face is finding the ISO file download. I already have the software to create a bootable USB from an ISO.

Use OpenJDK or other options, and a Notepad if needed. For more advanced apps, install Eclipse and OpenJDK.

The ISO is listed on the distribution's website. For instance, Debian - https://www.debian.org/distrib/ large/small image links. Arch Linux - https://www.archlinux.org/download/ various links for ISOs. And so on.
