Looking for guidance on setting up a modded Minecraft community. Consider platforms that support game servers and websites, like dedicated hosting services or custom solutions. Teamspeak integration is possible with the right setup. For tutorials, search reputable sites or forums focused on server management.

No, I don't recommend Enjin for the website.

Consider purchasing a Windows 7 Professional Mini ITX model from Newegg for about $120 and use it as your server. Enjin offers solid website functionality with built-in voting features.

Nodecraft seems quite good with solid support and quick, dependable servers. The site itself is decent for beginners. Regarding the server, enjin works well for a start. Is it a particular modpack? Personally, I use a Tekkit Classic 3.1.2 server; it usually goes live in about four days, though it can stay online for a year or more depending on hosting costs and internet stability.

I'm considering ftb infinity, but I'm also willing to hear other ideas.

Remember to include DDOS safeguards... those costs can add up quickly. Generally, it's wiser to use a hosting service unless you're managing many big servers and can handle the additional security expenses.

Wow, those modpacks are all pretty alike. I wouldn’t recommend setting up a classic server that’s hard to maintain due to so many duplicates, issues, and glitches. Plus, since they haven’t been updated for a while, fixing bugs is usually left to others who rarely get patches.
