Considering your setup, you'll want TP Link powerline adapters that support gigabit speeds and include built-in WiFi. Look for models compatible with Gigabit Ethernet and ensure they meet your power requirements.

I doubt you'll achieve gigabit speeds from power lines. Even with a label saying gigabit, it's just theoretical performance, and you'd likely get only a quarter of that at home. For true gigabit without Ethernet or coax, consider MOCA adapters.

Sorry, I don't have a coax in my home—it's quite an old building, so the power line is the only option available.

Additionally, you have AV1000 and AV1300 choices. If the powerline capacity is restricted, will there be distinctions between these models and should you invest in the AV1300?

The speed varies based on your home’s electrical setup. I suggest ensuring it meets a minimum homeplug AV2 standard. Here are some tech experts’ suggestions: https://www.techradar.com/news/the-best-...e-adaptors

So there is no benefit in going above AV1000 as long as it is AV2?

It depends on your home's electrical setup. With better wiring you'll notice a boost. Otherwise, the issue might lie in the wiring itself rather than the power adapters.

It’s more about the presentation than the facts. The summary doesn’t clarify how well the product performed in actual use. We need concrete results, not just technical details, to understand its real impact.

Discussing issues without offering fixes makes things irrelevant. Powerline performance checks often feel useless due to many factors at play. I spent some time looking for top powerline adapters this winter, reading real user reviews, but none helped because my home wiring didn’t work well with them.

Since the real-world limits are extremely important, even if you can't reach them, it usually shows how effectively the hardware works. If your connections aren't perfect, purchasing a lower-quality product will only make things worse. You might face a disappointing experience, thinking the issue is with your setup when it's actually the device itself that's faulty.
