Hello everyone, I'm searching for a great new video editor. Right now I use VSDC which isn't too bad, but I'd prefer Movie Maker unless I need to do greenscreen work. I tried Wax, but it crashed and the audio didn't work. Since I'm not a big video creator, I'd rather stick with something free (pirates are leaving). I'm looking for something similar to Movie Maker that offers chroma key and more advanced features—especially better text animations and effects. Thanks!

Have you thought about DaVinci Resolve 12, HitFilms or Lightworks? All three offer free options or affordable trials with powerful editing features.
