Looking for secure email options with strong encryption and reliable performance? I'm considering alternatives to gmx. Do you have any apps that offer encrypted messaging and data protection? I'm open to spending a bit for something better. Have a great day!

Based in Switzerland, it complies with strict privacy regulations. It has successfully received crow funding. You're entrusting them with your data—consider hosting it yourself for added security. Use MailPile to encrypt via client mode (https://www.mailpile.is/). For further details on other tools, visit prism-break.org.

I wouldn't wait your breath, using encrypted emails is tough since no one outside the tech world understands them. Typically both parties need to use the same platform for encryption to function, but even then, if your messages were encrypted, the other person would still have to reply, making everything visible in plain text. Also, ProtonMail seems like a humorous choice—it has a self-destructing messages feature that reminds me of Snapchat, which we all know compromises user privacy.

I haven't considered that. I'm looking for a fresh service to handle my daily commute. Probably I'll need to stick with the standard email system.
