You’re evaluating your needs carefully. Given your workflow with Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) and some gaming, you’ll want a processor that balances performance and efficiency. Since you’re not restricted to a specific budget or platform, Intel or AMD options are both viable. Consider models like the 9800X3D, 9950X3D, or 14900KS for strong multitasking, while the 285K Ultra offers excellent value. Your current setup with an RTX 4070 Ti and a 1440p/4K display suggests you’ll handle demanding projects smoothly. For CPU selection, prioritize stability and thermal management—look for integrated graphics support or a solid mid-range option if you plan to upgrade later. Choose a motherboard chipset that matches your budget and future expansion plans, such as B550 or B650 series. Let me know if you’d like more details!

9800x3D is a solid option, offering an 8-core CPU that’s fast for gaming right now. It still provides eight cores for other tasks, which is useful. If you require more power, simply double it with models like 9950x or 9950x3D. For the latest AM5 motherboards, choose ATX models with B850, B650E, X870, X870E, X670E chipsets—they usually come with good VRMs. You can also look for specific features on certain sites to find affordable yet solid AM5 boards such as Gigabyte B850 GAMING X WIFI6E, Gigabyte B650E AORUS ELITE X AX ICE, ASRock B850 LiveMixer WiFi, and others listed.

Consider using two 32GB sticks instead of four 16GB ones for a total of 64GB. This approach works well if you need that amount, though it’s worth checking if your application can handle the full 32GB at once—maybe by opening programs one by one rather than all at once.
