Top CPU cooler under $90 CAD available.
I currently have a 2600x configuration. All six cores are now running at 4 GHz, with idle temps around 45°C and under load reaching 87°C. Clocks peak at 3.7 GHz, but crashes occur when using other apps or playing games. I’m using low-profile RAM and the Corsair 220T. Someone with a good white or black cooler under $90 CAD would appreciate recommendations that let me push clocks higher, maybe up to 4.1 or 4.2 GHz, though crashes still happen occasionally—usually once or twice a week.
I don't have a current use case to reference. Could you clarify what device or context you're asking about?
Your readings are normal. As long as it's not below 90°C, you're all set. If the system is failing, it's likely your OC is unstable, not the cooler causing the issue.
It's still warm; consider measuring temps during regular use instead of benchmarks for a more comfortable result. @Rokk, if you need a cooler option after testing this, check models like Arctic eSports or GammaX 400.
It looks like you should adjust your OC first. You might consider either the Noctua U12 Chromax Black or the Noctua D15 Chromax Black, depending on your budget, if you still want something cooler.
