I'm looking to customize my FX 8320 but don't know what better cooling solution to purchase.
I'm using the standard model right now and plan to upgrade once I get an aftermarket cooler.
I currently have a Mid Sized Thermal Take case and a Sabertooth 990FX Mobo.
Thanks.

Well if that's the situation then why not simply browse Tom's top CPU cooler rankings and choose one from there?

What works depends a lot on personal preference. Some like going big in the air, others in the water. Both have their pros and cons, no matter what you choose.

I recently upgraded to an H110 this weekend. My motherboard was an M5A97 EVO R2.0, and even with the radiator, the socket temperatures would exceed 65°C during heavy use. If you own a solid motherboard, consider getting the best cooling setup possible. For less optimal boards, an Evo 212 might be a better choice since higher temps are unavoidable.

The Evo 212 offers good value if you're not aiming for major overhauls and it performs better than the standard cooler. With a mid-tower case, fitting a large air cooler isn't likely, leaving you with water cooling only. I've spotted many AIOs on sale at Newegg, mainly from Corsair. I'm not sure where you get your parts from, but I recently switched from Big Air Phanteks TC14PE to the H100i GTX for $83 US.

I'm trying to customize as much as possible with my 750 Watt PSU. Avoiding water cooling for my existing setup.

Don't want to add water cooling to my setup.
Should I go for a Noctua or the biggest option I can afford?
