I'm searching for a CPU cooler suitable for boosting an i5-4690k to 4GHz and above. It should fit your case and motherboard, and help maintain a stable temperature. Your current case runs between 23-24°C, while the CPU stays around 37-41°C when idle. Images attached show your setup.

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/9FGj4D/...oler-bk002 or https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Lbhj4D/...-cooler-c7. It's also a good idea to see how much you can overclock your chip using your current cooler first.

I am searching for a CPU cooler to overclock an i5-4690k to 4GHz and above. I need something that fits this motherboard and case, and will help keep the system cool. The current case temperature is around 23-24°C, while the CPU stays at 37-41°C when idle. Images are available below.
Specs:
EVGA GTX 1070 SC
18GB DDR3 RAM
Thermaltake 700w PSU
The pictures don’t show much about case clearance, but a Hyper 212X or Evo should work well with this i5. It’s not the idle temps that matter, but what happens during heavy use?

Details about the specs...

Thermaltake 700w PSU
Looking for recommendations on what temperature the CPU reaches during heavy use. In Battlefield 1, under full load temps hover between 60-65°C. I also updated one of the pictures.

You have plenty more to experiment with, possibly even more than that, thanks to your current cooler. I think a third-party one wouldn't change much. Do you know the model? A Hyper 212X would likely work well.

Well you have at least another 10c to play with, if not more, with your current cooler. I doubt a third-party one would make a huge difference. Do you know what case it is? Am sure a Hyper 212X would fit https://pcpartpicker.com/product/PJYXsY/...212x20pmr1 Corsair Carbide Series Spec-M2 A nice-looking case that's tough to install hardware, but I managed to get it working...
