The top budget CPU air cooler suitable for an overclocked i7-7700k at 5.2ghz is the one that fits without obstructing the RAM slots. I should mention I plan to remove the CPU as a further step, aiming for the most effective cooling option within a reasonable price range and avoiding an AIO water cooling system.

The expenses for a top-tier air cooler such as a D15 are comparable to those of an AIO. Risking damage to your CPU by removing the case is unnecessary, yet an AIO water system seems excessive? This doesn’t make sense to me.
