Thanks for the feedback on the crosshair—thought it’s nice but not widely available at Micro Center. It seems they only have a limited selection of X570 mobos. I’ll look into the Skinflint list next. Regarding purchasing, Newegg might be a better option online compared to Micro Center. I’ve been buying parts from Micro Center for about 15 years, but if it comes up online, I might consider ordering it then.

Visited the micro centre site and noticed they have just four motherboards available. The only PS/2 M.ole is the budget x570 pro4, which isn’t recommended for serious use. If you need a PS/2 connection, consider using an adapter from Amazon—like the Asus X570 Crosshair Vii Impact—and convert it to USB.

Also consider a series with frequent updates or bug fixes throughout its lifecycle. The one you mentioned originally required special capabilities from MSI and is expected to be updated again in about three years via BIOS patches.

They seem to be mediocre with the adapters, sticking to USB which isn’t ideal for my keyboard. I prefer the features of a PS/2 keyboard.
