I'm setting up my second PC soon after acquiring a Canon 90D. I plan to upgrade again. The CPU will be an AMD Ryzen 3950X and the motherboard will be an ASUS Rog Strix X570. I understand that AMD offers high capacity and fast RAM, so what would you expect in total? Around 32 gigabytes?

workload? budget? Both amd and intel benefit from faster ram, higher capacity? no. unless you're talking about dual and single channel (bandwidth.) also quick question.. what board exactly? and budget for the whole build? you could wait for zen 3 if possible and check what it has to offer.

board comes from ASUS Strix. Budget for a PC without a GPU can reach up to 2k euros. Since I'm getting the RTX 3090.

Previously mentioned, hold off until Zen 3 releases and evaluate its features first. That board is solid (around 12sic639), though other options exist as well. Just remember to wait.
