Hello! To begin your journey in hacking tests and penetration, focus on mastering Linux commands. Start with Debian or Ubuntu—they’re user-friendly and widely used. Once comfortable, explore Fedora as well. Practice is key, so take it step by step.

I find Linux Mint the most straightforward to start with. Debian-based options are generally designed for ease of use, while Mint offers a Windows-like experience in both Cinnamon and Mate, along with the largest community support.

For penetration testing, Kali seems like a great starting point.

I also concur. My setup is already installed on a USB drive and connects seamlessly to any available Wi-Fi network.

What I was thinking is to try something, but someone told me beginners should avoid Kali or Parrot first before moving forward.

I believe I should install Linux Mint since others recommended it for being beginner-friendly and straightforward to use.

The design follows a Windows-style layout, while Cinnamon resembles a contemporary version of Windows XP. Enjoy the experience!
