I'm searching for an m.2 Wi-Fi card for my PC because the powerline Ethernet keeps dropping intermittently. My motherboard has two antenna slots on the back, so I’d like a model with antennas for better coverage. Bluetooth would be nice too, but if that’s not essential, I’d prioritize Wi-Fi performance. I’m aiming for about $20, but I’m open to spending more if it makes a real difference. The board I’m using is the GA-X99-UD4-rev-10 from Gigabyte.

I bought TP-Link WR840N, change the setting as Range Extender in Tether app, connect PC to router with ethernet cable. works flawlessly, more clutter tho.

It seems like you're considering something intriguing. It could definitely work unless there are any further concerns

It seems like a poor decision since this router only works with very old WiFi and operates at 2.4Ghz. I’d recommend getting an Intel AX200 from eBay or Amazon—you’re likely to find one with the antenna cables included.
