I'm searching for options to improve the WiFi chip in my ASUS G14 notebook. It has a Mediatek MT7922 slot on the back. Some suggest the Intel AX211 might work, but I want to confirm with more sources. I'm interested in a detailed comparison between CNVio and PCIe compatibility, especially since this could affect performance significantly.

IIRC CNVIO cards work with the E key only. Regular wireless cards use the A+E key. Any Intel card that fits the socket is fine, but double-check your laptop doesn’t have restrictions like Lenovo does. It’s actually straightforward.
