Windows 10 benefits from Directx12 enabling smoother performance in certain games now. (Not forced and without issues) Windows 8.1 offers a superior Explorer interface compared to Windows 7, allowing removal of the Metro design and returning to older Start Menu options. Windows 7 remains ideal for users with specific hardware or software that strictly requires it. All games perform better on DX12 than on other platforms.

You're suggesting that winning 10 is superior to achieving 8.1 and 7.

No need to debloat in Win 10 unless you're trying to optimize performance or fix specific issues.

Don’t push it too far. Adjust the Windows settings to disable predictive features, ensure Winapps aren’t running in the background, and refresh the drivers. That should cover it—no major work needed. The update will finish under 30GB, so you won’t see much benefit.

Windows 10 LTSC or Windows 7 are sufficient; DirectX 12 isn't widely supported or valued yet.
