I've been using it for about a year now. There have been no complaints, no ads, and it's open source.

I've heard about malware that can dig its way into the bios dude, so even if you get a new os, it will still come back and bit you in the ass. Also shit like cryptolocker which is ransomware. I have no idea what kind of shit you'll face, so thread lightly. Edit: didn't ms stop supporting win7 last year? I know they're still supporting businesses and other stuff, but i'm pretty sure they stopped support and updates for the consumer. I maybe wrong, don't quote me on that.

It seems you're considering using BitTorrent since you've heard about it, even though you're unsure if it's still relevant. You might explore Deluge later too.

They no longer back XP support. Are there any sources where you can locate an ISO for W7?

You have an updated version of the crack 8.1 ISO, but using ISOs and connecting to unverified torrents violates the COC guidelines.

I just checked the link you shared. It seems to point to a download page for Windows 7 ISO files, but I’m not sure if it’s safe or legal to use.

I work with Transmission-Qt, which is essentially a Windows adaptation of the Mac application.

I understand, I do have the W7 key, but I'm having trouble using it to download the ISO from Microsoft's site. I'm okay with breaking Windows because it's costly, but this computer is going to a friend and I don't want him to face any issues. It feels too risky on Pirate Bay, honestly. Lol, I'll try it out and find out if it works.
