I've just reassembled my initial computer and am facing issues locating a suitable Windows version for it. The system runs a Pentium 3 at 667MHz (capable of boosting to 750MHz), has 300MB RAM, a 544MB HDD, and 85MB HDD. Since the installation media isn't critical—Windows 10 technical preview was tried without success due to space constraints—I'm seeking recommendations for any compatible releases. Expansion cards listed include Diamond Stealth iii S540, Dvico Boost FusionHDTV DVB-T Dual Digital 4, ExpertColor Med3931, and a TP Link PCI Wi-Fi card.

Windows98 can fit on that hard drive, but there won’t be more than 100 MB of free space remaining.

I'm having trouble finding drivers for the expansion cards that are compatible with any Linux distribution, which is why I avoided selecting Linux.

Attempted it, but the 80GB failed right away. I was thinking about switching to a 64GB USB just then, and it cost only $27.

I possess the Windows 3.1 5.25" floppies (eight in total) from my mother's 386 system, though the FDD vanished many years back during a relocation.
