You're enjoying Blender a lot! If you're looking for alternatives under $500, consider exploring free or budget-friendly options like Krita, GIMP, or open-source 3D tools such as Blender's own community plugins. These can help you achieve professional results without needing advanced software skills.

He mentioned prices above $500, except for Sketchup. Under $500, I don’t see any other affordable options. My advice is to go with Cinema 4D R14 or R15—they’re now around $17 and haven’t seen big upgrades since then. If you’re serious about 3D modeling, Maya is the go-to, considered the industry standard. For those who prefer Blender, check out Blender Guru on YouTube. Just remember, Blender isn’t a direct WMM match, but it offers a lot of capabilities. If you don’t need tutorials, try learning Cycles—it’s where the creativity starts.

3DS Max or Maya can handle the work very well. Autodesk offers top-notch modeling and animation tools, though their costs may not be suitable for everyday users.

Blender isn't my top choice. Cinema 4D or Maya are better options. If you're looking for something under $500, I haven't spent much on 3D animation or modeling lately, so I'm not sure about it.

Blender offers more versatility than other tools, is free and open source, works across platforms, and includes render farm features.
