I don’t believe there’s anything like a 64 x2… architecture. The Intel Pentium 4 was Intel’s response to the Athlon 64. Next came the dual-core era, and then the NVIDIA 8000 series GPUs, which represented a major leap forward and often outperformed CPUs.
