I capture using NVIDIA Shadowplay (and would appreciate recommendations for alternative recording software). A significant challenge is editing the 2-minute video files, which can reach 750MB in size. I typically employ Sony Vegas for this task, however, the rendering settings are overly complex, lengthy, and difficult to navigate. Selecting an appropriate output resolution proves problematic, as I struggle to maintain the original image quality. Furthermore, Vegas feels excessively elaborate for my needs. Windows Photo Editor proved disappointing because it consistently damages one of the audio tracks – both from the game itself and my microphone. Are there any straightforward alternatives? The benefit of Windows Photo Editor is its remarkable speed and ease-of-use when dealing with a large volume of clips, approximately 50 in total.

Avidemux is a remarkably straightforward application capable of fulfilling all your video editing requirements, and it includes NVENC output support, enabling you to synchronize your settings with Shadowplay.
http://avidemux.sourceforge.net/download.html
Do you truly require such high fidelity? My processing generates approximately 800 megabytes for a ten-minute duration.

It’s regrettably not feasible, as it requires video functionality.

Avidemux is a remarkably easy-to-use application capable of handling all your video editing requirements, and it includes support for nvenc encoding to synchronize with Shadowplay settings. You can find more information and download the software at http://avidemux.sourceforge.net/download.html. Do you genuinely require such high fidelity? My output typically amounts to approximately 800 megabytes for a ten-minute duration.
