As discussed repeatedly on this forum, the situation varies. If you're the sole user and remain cautious, common sense works well. But since my family shares my computer—including the kids—I want extra safeguards to prevent unwanted software from installing.

I was part of a broader discussion about security, and others like Nuluvius suggested sticking to basic principles. I also recommended Malwarebytes as a backup option when standard advice falls short.

I understand, but with a mobile device it felt like overcomplicating things. Malwarebytes isn't an antivirus, and if you're handling any tasks on your PC, you'll need something else.
