She’s getting her first PC soon and we picked an ASRock B365M Pro without knowing it lacked built-in WiFi. What do you think would work best for this setup? Her internet connection is actually quite poor since she lives with her parents who use a basic service from their ISP, and her current router isn’t up to date either. For affordability matters more than performance here.

The cheapest option is a USB Wi-Fi dongle from Amazon for around $10. Consider checking reviews and features like speed and band type before choosing, such as dual or single band. For speeds around 150 Mb/s on the 2.5 GHz band, this appears suitable.

I discovered PCI-e internal cards to be more dependable. Choose a reputable maker and the required Wi-Fi specs—like a router that uses 5 GHz. Avoid devices limited to 2.4 GHz. Recommended options include:
- TP-Link AC1200 PCIe Wireless WiFi Card (Amazon)
- ASUS PCE-AC51 AC750 Wireless Dual-Band Adapter (Amazon)
