Looking for a recommendation on a 2.5 GB USB C Ethernet adapter for your laptop? Since you're moving away from your streaming PC and prefer using your laptop, especially with your TP-Link setup, you'll want a compatible option. I suggest checking out the TP-Link TL-SG108-M2 model—it supports Gigabit speeds and works well with multi-port switches. If you need something smaller, consider a 2.5 GB USB-C adapter from Best Buy or Amazon. Let me know if you'd like more details!

AFAIK there is only one chipset for 2.5Gbit over USB (Realtek 8156), so there shouldn't really be any difference between them. I've used a couple of different ones and not had any problems with them.
