It seems you're considering switching to a password manager for better security and convenience. You're worried about keeping all your passwords safe and protecting against successful attacks. Since you prefer local solutions over cloud-based ones, a desktop application would be ideal. LastPass is a popular option, but if you'd like alternatives, look into options like Bitwarden or 1Password Desktop.

I applied a robust password for crucial sites like banking and Gmail, a moderate one for casual games, and a basic one for potentially risky or vulnerable platforms.

I suggest using a reputable password manager that supports end-to-end encryption. This way, even if your credentials are compromised, they remain secure and isolated from your other data.

You're currently using a password and need to update it every 30 days without reusing old credentials. You're also referencing a specific hash value, which might be part of your system's logging or verification process. Keep it secure and stay consistent with the new password.

My college setup is identical. I typically reuse the same password each time but alter just the final digit—it’s enough for my assignments, and who would bother with them? I was considering KeePass, but it seems hard to remember a master password that’s secure... Since you can’t store that strong password in it, does that undermine its usefulness if the single password controls everything?

Edward Snowden passwords should be memorable phrases. Such as: thampaps123. This isn't very secure, but Yourmomisasnowblower is stronger. It's easier to recall and tougher to guess because it's longer and more complex.

My ATM passwords are generally solid—they’re mixed phrases with capital and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. I can recall them easily. The main issue is that I reuse the same passwords across multiple accounts, except for my PayPal and online banking where I use different ones.

I understand that most of the data I have is made up, except for banking sites and similar places. However, when I access the internet, I rely on a virtual machine.

You’re left with just a single memory now.
