I occasionally fly on airplanes with roughly 30 minutes of complimentary Wi-Fi. I suspect they’re using MAC filtering to enable that service. During summer, the network feels more like a public one—everyone needs a password or code to connect. Only one device per code is allowed. I’m wondering if there’s an affordable option to modify the MAC address so it can function as a Wi-Fi router. Since I rely on my iPhone and can’t change its settings, I’m interested in solutions using a Raspberry Pi or an Android phone. Additionally, if the router is linked to the internet via a code, would all connected devices also gain access? This is my first time here, so I’m unsure if I’m in the right location.

You're facing a tricky situation. The guidelines prohibit actions that bypass tracking or monitoring tools. Using a fake MAC address to gain extra time on public Wi-Fi is considered a violation.

Sadly, I only interact with Reddit's /r/funny section. For MAC spoofing guidance, you'll need to consult forums or platforms that specialize in network security.
