Hey everyone! I’ve got a huge collection of music on my computer from various sources. The details like artist, track, and album get all mixed up, showing up as six different names in FooBar2000. Do you know if there’s any software that can automatically sort through all this and fill in the info for me? I understand I could do it manually, but it would take forever even with just about 500 songs. Any suggestions would be super helpful! Thanks!

I used foobar for this. It's quite straightforward once you become comfortable. Note: You'll need to handle it manually since no tool can reliably identify every song globally.

MP3 Tag link available at the provided URL. Alternatively, you can open an .mp3 file in Audacity, export it, and then add metadata manually. Another option is to use the right-click menu to access properties and input details.

Thanks for your feedback! Musicbrainz Picard works well most of the time, though setting up automatic input can be tricky. You might try foobar or MP3 Tag for manual entry, but I think Musicbrainz Picard is a better choice since it handles missing meta data fields more reliably.
