Car games, or almost anything else. Even simple actions like shifting windows or scrolling feel very fluid.
I've left it a bit longer and the jump from 60 to 100 is quite noticeable. Night and day. It's amazing. Going up to 120 is a significant step, but jumping from 120 to 144 is only a minor change. I struggle to distinguish 144 from 200. Perhaps in Windows, scrolling feels smoother at 200, but in games it's almost impossible to tell.
I'm planning to return the monitor due to the VA panel. The ghosting is excessive. When I run the RE2 demo and turn around, Leon's brown hair turns into a striped green and purple pattern. It's really unsettling. Even when watching videos, people moving leave a shadow behind them where they were before, which is definitely off.
I'm going to try the LG 34UC79G-B, which has an IPS panel with similar specifications (only up to 144hz, which is acceptable and Freesync works fine). It's $80 cheaper. I hope the nVidia Freesync technology could be compatible with this model in the future.
