I found the Microsoft Support chat that explained how to turn off automatic Windows 10 updates and still manage them manually. You can view the details here: http://imgur.com/a/ykcN4 This update helps with annoying update notifications.

It seems unclear why someone would want to turn off automatic updates. You can choose to let it install just Microsoft updates, excluding others such as Intel drivers. http://winsupersite.com/windows-10/stop-...windows-10

Well I didn't know it (and in my troubleshooting topic nobody was able to tell me this), been using an iMac for years, built a PC just over 2 years ago, all my PC experience prior is on Windows XP, 98, 2000, CE, and some old server OS, the schools I've been in have never had anything over XP. But here's why I needed to: I have the latest Intel Graphics Drivers direct from Intel's own application, Windows Update keeps installing older ones.

I've handled that before after the first Windows 10 setup, yet the old Intel drivers kept showing up. Since then, I've changed the setting to "never install driver software from Windows updates."

What's the point of adding it? Why do so many people include it?
