Here is a simpler way to put it: We bought another computer that looks just like the old one, but with a different hard drive setup. First, we moved the old hard drive from the first computer into this new one. Then, we copied the data from the original hard drive onto an extra USB stick and transferred that copy into the second computer. Finally, when you turn on Computer B, it starts acting exactly like Computer A.
