My current situation isn't related to hardware issues—I have a 1060, Ryzen 1600, M.2 drive, and 8 GB of RAM.

The Windows setup procedure differs from what you described. Device drivers are added once after the initial system restart, once the installer (USB/DVD) has properly applied the Windows image from the install.wim to the bootable drive. @Highku isn't reaching that stage, so other devices won't affect his installation. Additionally, the video link provided is specific to Windows 8.1; in Windows 10 you can perform a full reinstall directly from Settings using the "Reset this PC" option. The main problem here is that the Windows image lacks the driver for his disk controller. This is logical since Ryzen is a newer platform and isn't yet fully supported in the standard Windows image. If he places the drivers for his board on the same drive he boots from, he can choose them during Setup to allow the process to proceed normally.

The absence of drivers isn’t a valid reason for Windows installation failure. Unless the system was custom-built, it’s impossible to block reinstallation in the same manner as the original setup.

It seems confusing to you too, though it appears that’s what your system prefers. *shrugs*

You should use the MSI B350 Mortar Arctic motherboard for Windows 10 64-bit.

Even though its title suggests otherwise, the solution you're after is likely the "AM4 Raid Driver." You should also consider downloading the chipset driver package. It might take some time to locate the specific drivers Windows needs to recognize your controllers. Once you identify the right drivers, you can store them for future use.

I’m also downloading the driver pack, so I’ll notify you if I spot a more suitable one. Currently, I’m only receiving around 3MB/s, which feels slow compared to the expected 1GB driver bundle.
