I recently purchased a PC and, because it’s more than what I actually need, I opted for a cautious approach—avoiding overclocking or pushing components too far. Here’s the setup: Intel I5-14600KF CPU, Gigabyte B760M DS3H DDR4 motherboard, 2x16GB 3200MHz RAM, Adata XPG Spectrix D35G (white), RTX 4070 Super Twin X2 OC White GPU, 360mm CPU, Kingston NV2 2TB M.2 SSD, and a 750W PSU from Montech Air. I’m trying to keep things stable.

How can I just stay safe? What BIOS or Windows tweaks should I consider? Perhaps adjusting the power settings or CPU voltage? I’ve heard some 14th-gen Intel i5s might have issues, so I want to be extra careful. Since this machine is expensive—especially in Brazil—I don’t want any problems down the line. It will mainly be used for 3D rendering with software like Lumion, Twinmotion, or Unreal Engine.

If anything sounds confusing, I’m not very experienced with settings or diagnostics.

It's hard to stop failures completely, but using a UPS can really help. It keeps your system powered smoothly and protects your PC during outages or blackouts. For a typical setup, aim for a 1500VA unit, which usually costs around $200.
