Creating a game with embedded radio stations like YouTube or Spotify is generally legal, but it depends on how you use them. Simply embedding content without altering it or adding new functionality might not break rules, but ensure compliance with copyright and licensing terms. Always review platform guidelines and local laws.

It varies based on the music type. To prevent copyright issues, opt for royalty-free tracks. Embedding links like YouTube or Spotify still counts as infringement unless it forces sign-ins or uses browsers that access those sites. Including songs from those platforms, even indirectly, is problematic.

Note: Even with "free" music, verify licensing details. What’s legal for personal use might not be for commercial products.

It varies; I once ran a Garry's Mod server for years and it was popular without any copyright issues. The safest option is using an in-game browser that users can reach through, rather than one limited to just YT. Hope this clears things up!

When users visit YouTube and watch videos, playing them shouldn’t be seen as copyright violation—it might just appear as a complex web browser. But if the content relies solely on YouTube for music, using it as a source could lead to copyright issues.

When dealing with copyrighted music, avoid using it unless you're certain. If unsure, search online—most likely it's protected unless explicitly stated otherwise. Alternatively, you could compensate the recording artist, though that may not be financially feasible.

Gmod runs continuously without problems, and there are servers specifically for it.

They likely won’t matter unless you gain an advantage.

They might have thought so, though it’s just the few servers that could support donations, which isn’t a major problem for the whole game since profits come partly from copyrighted music.
