I looked into previous discussions before creating this and discovered some threads from last year. I just watched their stream today on Twitch and saw their first action combat pass to match their tab focus. It seemed interesting, so I grabbed the early access Beta 2 pack. Are others excited about this game too?

You can check recent gameplay clips for a brief summary. The older video from two months ago seemed like a standard MMO, while the more recent one appeared to resemble Rune without a HUD. If they removed cooldown restrictions, it could be worth exploring further.

What sets this game apart from others is its unique mode system. That’s what really caught my interest. They also share all their past streams on Twitch.

I've been keeping an eye on AoC for a while now and I think it has promise—it's not perfect, but it shows potential. If they can create something similar to Tera without all the distracting elements like police chases or intense action sequences, I'll take a look.

It seems they've shifted control over PvP territory to focus more on grinding. This could function as a dynamic event system, prompting zones to concentrate on specific areas for unique world events. However, such a setup would need strict oversight from the dev team. It feels likely this would be removed after a few months if it doesn't improve the experience, especially since most content remains hidden due to players only grinding one node for drops. It's frustrating waiting six months for a quest while another group claims a territory. Also, nodes are confusing—like saying 'no, not that node; I meant the other type.' It's just as problematic as ESO's guilds and skilllines.

It will definitely be intriguing. I’ve played Ego Shock for several years and managed most of the veterinary details. I stopped playing just before Morrowind, which explains your point about naming styles. I was excited about this title but remain careful—not blindly jumping in. They’ll need a thoughtful strategy to ensure balance. Regarding the unfinished quests, I believe the full story will become available once the area is fully accessible (after leveling up). The rest of the game, though, seems to be PvP with an anti-cheating system similar to Fallout 76’s approach to handling griefers. I hope this discourages excessive exploitation. I’m concerned about large guilds potentially controlling entire servers unless they allow character porting. Given the claimed player counts (tens of thousands per server), that shouldn’t be an issue. They’ve been very open about development, breaking many Kickstarter records, so I think the game has strong potential.
