I've been playing Titan Quest a lot and just upgraded to a Ryzen 3700X with a Gigabyte Radeon RX 580 gaming card and 8GB VRAM. The system has 32GB of 3200GHz RAM (2x8GB configurations). I'm trying to run the Anniversary Edition with all DLC in 4K and still see performance between 60 and 130 FPS. My monitor is an Asus VG289 and I'm using a WD Blue NVME 1TB SSD. Any tips? If it helps, I'm looking for feedback from Mindstab Thrull.

You're unsure about the issue, but if you're exceeding 60 frames per second you might be hitting your monitor's refresh limit. If the instability bothers you, set it to 60fps.

Played a bit recently and noticed the frame rate settling around 50 fps, without heavy crowds—expecting about 45 fps. Current display is 4K with top graphics options enabled. Would adjusting to 60 (which seems to activate V sync) improve performance? Thanks, Mindstab Thrull

It could improve stability but won't prevent FPS drops under the limit. It seems the game isn't demanding much at 4K resolution with that card, though. Your usage patterns in-game are what I need to know. I use MSI Afterburner and RivaTuner's OSD to monitor performance while troubleshooting.
