Warning: Newbie notice I've got an Ubuntu SFTP setup ready. At the moment I rely on Terminus on my Android for remote access, but I'm aiming to share my server with friends and family for storage and file sharing. I don't hope my less tech-savvy relatives can connect via SSH or PowerShell, so I need a more intuitive web interface. Currently CrushFTP looks promising because of its one-time purchase model. However, I'm open to suggestions from seasoned users in this area. My goals: - Easy-to-use web-based interface - Separate login details for each user with their own shares - Strong security built-in - No recurring fees - Works smoothly on Ubuntu Server - Can run directly from my own server

I wouldn’t rely on FTP or SFTP methods… consider Nextcloud. It’s straightforward to configure and offers a simpler experience for users with limited technical expertise.
