Hey, your Asus PCE-N15 has been acting up lately. I think the price and the hardware are to blame—it’s a wireless-N card that can handle up to 300Mbps. With it, I’m only getting around 20Mbps on Wi-Fi, which is way below the 60Mbps I’d see on a solid Ethernet connection. Even then, download speeds fluctuate between 5 and 15Mbps depending on time and whether your PC is even running. My laptop easily hits 30Mbps or more, sometimes reaching 70Mbps. It uses an Intel 8XXX wireless-AC card with Bluetooth 5, rated for 1733Mbps. I’m considering switching to the Gigabyte GC-WB1733D-I, which supports Bluetooth 5 and claims up to 1733Mbps. Is it worth upgrading from your current card to this one? The idea is that it should let you reach consistent speeds similar to your laptop.

The upgrade is definitely worthwhile. It's also important to check your home network and Acess Point, as they can significantly impact your internet speed.

Great! Your Gigabyte card is on its way. When checking your home network and access points, focus on verifying the correct devices are connected and that your Wi-Fi signals are stable. As a beginner, it’s helpful to confirm each AP appears in the list and that speeds match expectations.
