Tips for improving your gaming PC performance?
I'm planning to enhance my PC for better gaming performance. I'm open to spending between $500 and $750, with a bit more if needed. My primary game is Rust. Current specifications include an Intel i5-8400 CPU, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti GPU, 8 GB DDR4 RAM at 2133 MHz, a B360M bazooka motherboard, a 100 GB SSD, a 1 TB HDD, and a 500W EVGA power supply.
Another 8gb ram 2133 to run both in dual. Mixing ram not in a kit is a risk but chances of dual channel success is high on Intel's 1050ti is letting you down more than the cpu and ram, too bad gpus are badly priced. Dual channel and cpu with hyperthreading will help in the future but for now anything better than 1050Ti will make you smile. If you opted for a better GPU like 3060/Ti, consider replacing the PSU first.

The greatest improvement will come from upgrading the GPU.
The issue is they are extremely/extremely costly right now and you'd need to replace the PSU.
Just consider adding a small shop for 2x8GB @ 2666MHz RAM.
Install it in the correct slots.
Focus on eliminating unnecessary background processes.
