I'm exploring a fresh setup beyond my current ISP equipment. I'm transitioning from Ubiquiti gear to a more modern configuration, focusing on enterprise needs. PFense is familiar territory, but I'm also considering alternatives. My requirements include one access point, 1-2 switches, and a router/firewall. Use case: three desktops as servers, three home PCs, and one wireless Apple TV. I have a solid 1Gb fiber connection. Looking for recommendations on new products that fit this setup.

You recently set up a TP Link Omada 245 and created a virtual environment for your controller in Proxmox. The connection speed to your iPhone is around 600Mbit, which works well for you.

AP operates independently and does not function as a firewall.

Currently just AP, I rely on PF-Sense as a firewall, but I could switch to an Omada FW because some controller functions require it.
