I designed my CPU from the ground up to stay within budget, choosing a Ryzen 5 3500 and a Gigabyte B450M DS3H-CF. I used the stock cooler and boosted it to 4.2GHz via Ryzen Master a few months ago without raising the voltage, and it ran smoothly in all games. Because the CPU got very hot, I upgraded to a new cooler (Arctic Freezer 13X CO) and the temperatures stayed between 62-64°C during heavy loads. I wanted to take it further and saw a forum post showing 4.5Ghz all-core at 1.38V. It mentioned people checking stock voltage settings and stress tests, but my issue was a 10-minute stress test pushing temps close to 82°C with the new cooler. I’m considering a cooler upgrade and wondering if an Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240 would be suitable. Please advise what to look for, keeping in mind Indian prices (Amazon India). Thank you!
