I'm just starting out with overclocking and am trying to extract every bit of performance from my CPU.
I own an older FX-6350 and am attempting to reach 4.4Ghz.
When I use the lowest stable voltage, I reach peak temperatures under 100% stress tests at around 80 degrees, which causes my clock speeds to drop.
On the other hand, during regular gameplay and everyday use, I rarely exceed 70-75 degrees, so I don’t experience throttling.
In short, I’m wondering if it’s okay to run at this frequency or should I lower it for better temperature stability?
Also, I plan to upgrade soon, so long-term processor lifespan isn’t a major concern for me.
Cheers.

Typically, games rarely fully stress the CPU. The level of demand depends on the game, configuration, and graphics card being used.

You're fine at 75C and no throttling.
