I was in a (zoom) call today with my web browser and meeting open in the Windows automatic split screen mode. I noticed a line of pixels at the bottom of my screen between my taskbar and the window, and it seemed to appear under both windows and on the side, not just when one was maximized or in full screen. The image shows a snippet of the bottom part of the window to clarify what I meant. The colors—purple/magenta/blue for my wallpaper, black for the taskbar, grey/white for the program—are visible but hard to see clearly.
Windows zoom and DPI scaling issues seem to stem mainly from Zoom. Almost all programs that don’t save their window settings cause this problem. Zoom always appears as a windowed view, even after closing it in full screen mode.
your windows behaves consistently, even when using programs like file explorer. It often requires shifting the window a little to resolve the issue. This pattern repeats, particularly after a system reboot.
Guess it might be related to the display setup. It doesn't occur when shifting a window, then a menu appears for apps, but the main controls seem compressed. Could be connected to using an ultrawide monitor.
