It's not that way. The drying happens over time, so likely your environment is a bit warmer or you're doing more work.

Also think about the transition into spring. Room temperatures will gradually increase from winter through spring and then to summer. It's interesting how much of a difference it makes, and it seems to amplify over time. I have serious allergies and asthma that need constant air-conditioning to maintain a comfortable 68°F (20°C) inside, while the rest of the house stays warmer at 70°F. This makes my condition worse. With an ambient intake temperature of 20°C, my new 5900X should run cooler than many—around 29°C to 39°C at idle, usually around 47°C to 57°C, rarely exceeding 65°C. Compared to the temperatures mentioned in that link (40°C–45°C at idle, 60°C during gaming, peaking at 70°C–72°C), these numbers might be lower or less consistent. I’m not sure if these are typical values or just estimates, but I haven’t found much reliable data on the 5900X yet. Edited March 16, 2022 by An0maly_76
