Since the latest 10 update, I've lost the ability to use Ethernet for internet access. My network and other devices still work, but after a short period post-update, internet becomes unavailable—no triangle appears even though it should. I've tried reinstalling drivers and resetting settings, but nothing resolves the issue. Should I consider giving up and reinstalling Windows? It's frustrating, but it seems to fix the problems that can't be fixed otherwise.

Compared to not knowing what to do, restoring Windows is far easier and requires less time/effort.

I’ll start with a different approach.
This might break something, but I’m trying it anyway.

Consider simple options like connecting your phone via Wi-Fi or using USB tethering.

I have Wi-Fi, but its signal is quite weak compared to Ethernet. I resolved the issue previously; I tested various methods and it functioned. Recently, after updating Windows, my PC can't connect to the Bell Router, though it works with the secondary one. Before you ask, it’s properly configured—no double NAT or similar issues—so it should be fine. I connected it to the Bell Router for lower latency and more reliable performance since much internal traffic passes through that switch and router. It's not terrible; better than Wi-Fi and definitely better than a full reinstall. I’m not sure the update affected the main router, but it might have caused some problems.
