Hi everyone, I recently upgraded my PC. Before, Thunderbolt connections worked fine on my old machine. I purchased the Z790 apex and had an old Thunderboltex 3-TR available. I connected everything, installed the driver, updated the BIOS, and adjusted the settings as recommended. Despite following all the steps, it still didn’t work. For a short time, it functioned when daisy chained to another hub, so I tried using a short TB4 cable linked to a hub, then connected the other end to my main hub. Even that didn’t last long. Anyone have similar issues? It’s really disappointing after all this effort and nothing seems to work now.

It seems this applies mainly to older hardware, while the latest ThunderboltEX 4 is required for modern devices. https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1047491
